Donations

CRESST is dedicated to helping children and young people learn conflict resolution skills that can be used in their schools and communities.

As a registered charity we rely on grants and donations to support our work and future plans.

Your donations are important to us. They allow CRESST to work directly with children and young people and to make long term plans for future work.

Any financial contribution you can make will be greatly valued.

There are a number of ways you can help us continue to help children and young people learn conflict resolution skills.

1. Join Friends of CRESST and make a regular donation to us.

2. Make a one off donation.

As a friend of CRESST we will ensure that you receive up to date information 3 times a year about the work we are undertaking (unless you specify not to receive these). You will also receive invitations to our planned events.

For either of these options download the donation form here.

3. Leave a gift in your will

A gift in your will to CRESST will help to provide a future generation with vital skills that will stay with them throughout their lives.

Some frequently asked questions about Wills

How do I make a Will?
It's important that you use the services of a solicitor.

What if I already have a Will?
Your solicitor can add CRESST to your Will with a written instruction called a codicil.

Do I have enough assets?
Most people are surprised by how much their assets add up to. You don't need to be wealthy to make a Will - or leave a legacy. After taking care of your loved ones, you can then choose to leave a Residuary legacy [a portion of what is left after all your other commitments have been met] - or a Pecuniary legacy [a gift of a specific amount] to CRESST

What about Inheritance Tax?
Leaving a gift to a charity such as CRESST can lower the Inheritance Tax payable on your estate. Your solicitor can answer any questions you have about Inheritance Tax.

What else should I tell my solicitor?
Simply that you wish your legacy to go to CRESST, to continue our work with children and young people. (UK Charity no. 1116794 Registered Office: Scotia Works Leadmill Road Sheffield S1 4SE).
